Timmy Brewer served in Sign Choir during our 218-19 season. He played Heat Miser in Frozen. He’s really enjoyed learning to sign the songs in sign choir. In his spare time Timmy enjoys playing baseball and his Xbox 360.
Sherri Grossman joined us for our production of Second Star to the Right. She created the beautiful fairy costumes for this show. Sherri loves learning new signs and making new lifelong friends in sign choir. Sherri has recently moved and has decided to focus her energy on helping us create fantistic costumes for our upcoming show, A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Ryan Eliason is employed full time with the Cleaning Crew at the Cleveland Airport FAA Tower. In 2007 he graduated from Columbia High School and JVS. In 2017 Ryan watched our Christmas Show and joined sign choir in January of 2018. He played the Baker in Beauty and the Beast and Hans in Frozen. Ryan enjoys learning new signs and teaching others how to sign. He also loves crowd participation during our shows. Ryan enjoys collecting model cars and studying their horsepower, engine types, tire size, and country of origin. He also enjoys writing letters, songs, singing in church, dancing, playing basketball, soccer, swimming, softball, golf and going out with friends.
Tobi Miltenberger is 19 years old. He’s traditionally homeschooled and is a senior this year. Sharon Svette was Tobi’s teacher at Camp I.D.E.A.S. and she invited him to join sign choir in the fall of 2015. Tobi was part of the ensemble in The 2015 Christmas Show, the Scarecrow in Wicked, a passenger in Polar Express, Timone The Lion King, the Grinch in The 2017 Christmas Show, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, and Santa in Frozen, a pirate in Second Star to the Right, Schroeder in Charlie Brown Christmas, and The Wolf in Into the Woods.. Tobi enjoys spending time with his friends during sign choir. In his spare time he enjoys , reading Manga, watching Anime, and researching family genealogy.
Ahron Billings joined Sharon's Signers in 2019. He played Franklin in Charlie Brown Christmas and a narrator in Into the Woods. Ahron enjoys signing with our group and hanging out with his friends. In his free time Ahron enjoys playing video games and hanging out with his brother. He loves taking summer vacations in California.
Chris Martin graduated from North Royalton High School in 2009. Sharon Svette recruited Chris to join sign choir in 2015 when Ashley Jones asked him to videotape the Frozen show. Chris has performed in several shows: The Tin Man in Wicked, a passenger in Polar Express, ensemble in The 2015 Winter Show, Scar in The Lion King, the book keeper in Beauty and the Beast, the King in Frozen, Mr. Darling in Second Star to the Right, Pigpen in Charlie Brown Christmas and The Wicked Step-mother in Into the Woods. Chris loves interacting with everyone in sign choir. In his spare time Chris enjoys watching movies and hanging out with his friends.
Zachary Hunnicutt graduated from Elyria High School in 2015. Zach began signing with Sharon Svette during his freshman year of high school. He’s played many roles over the years including Mufasa in The Lion King, Maui in the 2017 Christmas Show, the Beast in Beauty an the Beast, the Wizard in Wicked, Woody in Toy Story, the Conductor in The Polar Express and Frozen. Zach enjoys spending time with his friends during sign choir. In his spare time Zach enjoys playing drums, working outside, and watching action movies. Zachary recently moved to Texas - we really miss him in our choir!
Bryanna (Kirby) Boesken i graduated from Elyria High School in 2009 and earned her Associates of Accounting from Lorain County Community College in 2013. Rachelle Tokar invited Bryanna to join sign choir during her senior year at Elyria High. She played in the ensemble in Frozen, Chip in Beauty and the Beast and the elephant in The Lion King. Bryanna loved sign choir because it feels like a family to her. In her free time Bryanna enjoys drawing and playing guitar.
Cory Svette is directing Svette Signers based in Westlake, Ohio and is the former Choir Director of Sharon’s Signers. He is the son of our late founder, Sharon Svette. He graduated from Lorain Admiral King High School in 2009. He earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in 2014. He’s been involved with sign choir from its inception, helping his mother. He took over as director in September of 2016 after his mother suddenly passed away. In addition to directing, he’s performed in several shows including Wicked, The Wizard of Oz, Frozen, Polar Express, Fairy Tale Theater, and Beauty and the Beast. Cory enjoys directing sign choir, we are both his friends and extended family. In his free time Cory enjoys drawing, painting, singing and writing music.
Dana Beaudin is 19 years old. In 2021 she graduated from Summit Academy in Lorain, Ohio. She's currently attending LCCC. She joined Sharon's Signers in 2017. She played Plumette in Beauty and the Beast , Snow Miser in Frozen, Peter Pan in Second Star to the Right, Violet in Charlie Brown Christmas, and a Wicked Step-sister in Into the Woods .She loves performing during our sign choir shows. In her spare time Dana enjoys taking voice lessons, reading manga, watching anime, and talking with her friends.
Ashley Jones graduated from Elyria High School in 2009 and earned her Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Lorain County Community College in 2012. Ashley began signing with Sharon Svette 15 years ago at Westwood Middle School, she has played several roles including Annie in Annie, Nala in The Lion King, Munchkin in Wizard of Oz/Wicked, Anna in Frozen, LeFou in Beauty and the Beast, The Little Girl with Red Hair in Charlie Brown Christmas, and The Witch in Into the Woods. Westwood Signers performed at Ashley’s elementary school and she loved the show so much that she joined the sign choir on her first day of 7th grade! Ashley’s loves having fun during practice and social outings. She enjoys learning new signs, music, art, Halloween, theater, Disney, and anything fun!
